Mystic, CT – Fun Things to Do and See

Mystic ct is a village and census-designated place located in Stonington and Groton, Connecticut. It is also a popular tourist destination. The city offers a number of fun things to do and see. Mystic Aquarium

The Mystic Aquarium is a marine aquarium located in Mystic, Connecticut. It is one of only two U.S. facilities that house Steller sea lions, and it is also home to the only beluga whales in New England. Visitors can also experience the African penguins’ playful nature, waddling over rocks and sliding across habitats.
Fields of Fire Adventure Park

TreeTrails Adventures is an outdoor adventure park in Mystic, CT that offers zip lining and rock climbing. The park is about 5 minutes away from downtown Mystic and offers a fun, high adventure experience for the whole family. The park is also accessible by car or taxi, and it’s the perfect location for a day of fun.

The park has five climbing trails and an aerial park that range in difficulty. The courses start at mid-tree level and include obstacles for beginners to experts. Each participant is provided with safety gear including hard hats and safety lines. The admission fee covers three hours of climbing, which is a great value for a family or a group outing.
Mystified Escape Rooms

Mystified Escape Room is located in Mystic, CT. It is located inside a building that is white with various colors adorning the walls. The reception desk has a large print of the company’s logo, and the waiting area has a brown sofa and a painting depicting a mythological creature. The decor is complete with various props, and the staff is happy to take pictures with you after the game.

The games are designed to be fun for the whole family, and are designed to challenge everyone’s creativity and teamwork skills. The goal is to work together to solve the puzzles and riddles in order to get out of the room within the time frame. Each room is different, but they are all based on a common theme: a mystery. You have 60 minutes to solve the puzzles and escape.
Barley Head Brewery

The brewery features a rotating menu of artisanal beers and food items that are sourced locally. You can enjoy takeout or relax in the taproom. The taproom is small, so you might have to share a table with others.

The Barley Head is a cozy brewpub located on the ground floor of a big building. There’s only room for thirty people inside the taproom, and the beer selection isn’t extensive. You’ll find local Jonathan Edwards wines and other beers, and if you’re craving something a little more substantial, you can order food from nearby restaurants. But don’t expect any long-distance conversation – the breweries aren’t equipped with large tables.
Museum of Art

The Mystic Museum of Art is one of Connecticut’s premier art galleries. Located on the Mystic River, the museum features works by artists from across the region and beyond. The museum also operates studios and galleries that feature the work of local artists. There are many educational programs for both children and adults.

The museum features free admission and is a favorite among local families and art enthusiasts.
